Companies in León, Ponferrada and El Bierzo: the corporate account for visitors arriving at León station, industrial-estate staff and trips to Barajas and Asturias, with one invoice a month
The corporate account is a way of paying and invoicing, with no fee and no minimum: authorised people book by phone, email, WhatsApp or API, every trip has its price fixed in advance, the traveller neither pays nor keeps receipts, and at month end one invoice arrives with VAT itemised and one line per job with date, route, passenger and cost centre. In León it solves the distances: the visitor arrives by high-speed train at León station and from there has to go on to a suburban industrial estate, to Astorga or, crossing the Manzanal, to a company in Ponferrada or El Bierzo; and flights come in through Barajas or Asturias. From León station to Ponferrada is 111 km; to Astorga, 49 km.

How does a visitor reach a company in León or El Bierzo?
By high-speed train to León station, by the Bernesga and a short walk from the centre, with trains to Madrid via Palencia and Valladolid and to Asturias through the Pajares base tunnel; it is the whole province's link to fast trains, and from it an office in the centre is close, but a suburban plant, a company in Astorga or a factory in El Bierzo is not, and the bus does not arrive in time for a meeting. The job is booked with the train number and the company's address as destination, the app follows delays and the driver waits at the exit with the visitor's name; El Bierzo is reached along the A-6 and over the Manzanal pass, which in winter is confirmed the day before. Ponferrada and Astorga have stations on conventional lines with few trains, and a visitor arriving there is collected the same way.
Anyone arriving by air comes through Barajas or Asturias airport, which has far more routes than León's at La Virgen del Camino; to El Bierzo, sometimes, through Galicia. The figures are the engine's, the same as for an individual: León station to Ponferrada, 111 km from 144,13 €; León station to La Bañeza, 51 km; León to Asturias airport, 174 km through the Huerna; León to Barajas, 354 km and about 244 min, from 427,38 €. There is no surge or time-of-day surcharge: the price agreed at booking is the one on the invoice.
What do companies in the province ask for besides receiving visitors?
Staff and campaigns, in a province where the bus does not enter the industrial estates or reach the shifts. The suburbs of León and San Andrés del Rabanedo have estates with shift changes before dawn; El Bierzo, industry, wineries with their own designation of origin and a district that moves by road; La Bañeza and the Órbigo plain, irrigated agri-food with summer campaigns. The shift change is booked as one job with several stops: the company gives the clock-in time and the addresses, the platform works out the run with staggered pickups and one price for the whole thing, and if several cars are needed they are coordinated to the same time and invoiced together at month end; during a campaign it is left fixed for as many weeks as it lasts.
Business trips: the departure to León station with a margin for the train, or to Barajas or Asturias to fly, with the return booked to the flight and arrival tracking; meetings in Valladolid, seat of the regional government, along the N-601, or in Oviedo through the Huerna, when the train does not fit the time; and fairs in Madrid, with IFEMA as destination, for which a team books the cars with staggered pickups and a single invoice: León to IFEMA is 344 km. From Ponferrada, the account is used above all to go up to León with a client or a worker: Ponferrada to León University Hospital, 115 km, for referrals from El Bierzo Hospital.
How is the account opened, and who may book?
From the companies page, with the tax details and the authorised people, with no lock-in and no fee; the account is opened through the normal sign-up and marked as a corporate one under billing. The norm in a company in the suburbs or El Bierzo is to authorise two or three people, reception, management and whoever organises the shifts, and have the rest go through them, although it can be opened to the whole team with a cap per job. Each booking is confirmed in writing with the route, time, passenger and price, and is tied to the cost centre named by whoever books, which is what later orders the invoice. If the company would rather have its own system do it, there is an API with a key to quote, book and check the status.
What repeats is left as a fixed service: the staff run each morning, the technician who comes from the station every week, a worker's periodic appointment at the Healthcare Complex. It keeps the same driver, who already knows the plant, the gate and the time, is kept for as many weeks or months as needed and is cancelled at no cost when it ends. On the French Way, which crosses the province through Sahagún, León, Astorga and Ponferrada, hostels and agencies with an account book for their pilgrims the stage skip or the return to the station with the pack, from spring to autumn.
What does the invoice include, and what if the train or the flight is late?
One grouped invoice a month, with VAT itemised at the reduced passenger-transport rate and one line per job with date, route, passenger, cost centre and amount; if the company works by cost centres, it comes broken down by centre, and it reconciles with the written confirmations. The traveller files no expense claim and advances no money. Each trip is performed by a partner under their own valid VTC authorisation or taxi licence, with a road sheet issued before it starts, in case compliance asks for it; if a partner fleet performs it, you are told who is driving before the pickup, not after.
If the visitor's train is late, the job carries the number and the app follows it: the pickup moves by itself and the published courtesy wait runs from the actual arrival; at Barajas and Asturias, with the flight number, the actual landing time is checked. If a meeting runs long, the driver is told by message and a wait or a new time is agreed; extended waiting is invoiced at the published rate and you are warned before it starts to count. In winter Pajares, the Manzanal and the Laciana passes can have snow or ice: for an early flight or a first train, the pickup is brought forward at booking and the driver checks the state of the passes the night before.
What other companies in the province use the account?
The hotels of León and Ponferrada and the rural houses of El Bierzo and the Maragatería, to take guests to the station or the airports with the charge on the room; the Bierzo wineries that receive buyers and wine tourism; clinics and insurers, for unaccompanied transfers to appointments at the León Healthcare Complex or El Bierzo Hospital with an escort to the door and the invoice to the insurer; schools, for outings with several cars to Las Médulas or the Valporquero caves; and wedding and event organisers. Each has its own page with what changes in its case; the account is the same.
The hospitals deserve a separate note: the León University Healthcare Complex is the province's reference hospital and receives patients from the mountains, for whom an appointment takes the whole day, and El Bierzo Hospital serves the district and refers some specialities to the capital. An insurer or an occupational health service in Villablino or La Bañeza books the outward trip, the wait and the return in the same job, with an escort to the outpatients door. It is a car with a driver to and from an appointment, not medical transport, and the knowledge-centre piece on non-urgent medical transfers explains where the line is.
Frequently asked questions
Does the corporate account have a fee or a lock-in?
No. It is a way of paying and invoicing: no fee, no minimum and no lock-in contract. With high volume a rate can be discussed, always in writing.
How does a visitor get from León station to a company in Ponferrada?
With a pickup booked with the train number: the driver waits at the station exit with the visitor's name and crosses the Manzanal along the A-6 to the company's gate, which is saved in the account for the next visit. The price is the engine's and appears on the monthly invoice.
What if the visitor's train or flight is late?
The job carries the train or flight number and the app follows it: the pickup moves by itself and the published courtesy wait starts counting at the actual arrival, without anyone having to ring.
Barajas or Asturias for a visitor arriving by air?
It depends on the flight and the season: Asturias has more routes than León airport and is closer to the capital through the Huerna, as long as the passes are clear; Barajas is the long run along the A-6. In both cases the job is booked with the flight number.
Can an industrial-estate shift change or a campaign crew run be fixed?
Yes: it is booked as one job with several stops and the same clock-in time, left fixed with the same driver for as many days or weeks as needed, including public holidays, and cancelled at no cost when it ends.

How we write, where the figures come from and how we correct an error: editorial policy.
The account's conditions (authorised people, caps, cost centres) are set when it is opened and can be adjusted later; the courtesy wait and the cancellation policy are those published on the companies page when opened. Kilometre, minute and price figures are those of the route engine when the page is opened; the VAT rate is the one published by the tax agency on the date consulted.
